In three phases, spanning a decade, Lewis built this 196,500 square foot historic complex. Construction included a 133,000 square foot addition tied into two historic and occupied wings—Anstett and Peterson Halls. As a result of feedback from students and staff, classrooms were designed to be flexible, enhancing experiential learning. The complex houses one of the largest photovoltaic arrays in the Northwest, which in the last three years has saved 232+ tons of CO2 from the atmosphere.
