Lewis constructed an 11-story laboratory building in downtown Seattle at 9th and Stewart, including laboratory shell space, retail, and secured parking above-grade for 165 cars. The building was designed to accommodate a diverse range of sciences and be very adaptable. For example, HVAC equipment can be added or retrofitted through a removable 35′-wide louver system up the full height of the building.
