Joshua Green Building
The Project
Lewis completed the seismic upgrade and modernization of the historic 10-story Joshua Green building, transforming its floors into 112,000 square feet of Class A offices with ground-floor retail. Despite partial occupancy, Lewis preserved and replicated key features, added major seismic improvements, and incorporated modern amenities like a roof deck, elevator, and glass canopies.
About
Seismic improvements include brace frames, perimeter concrete walls, shotcrete shear walls, drag strut bracing and carbon-fiber wrapping of columns. Additional project elements included a new central stair, a new alley façade, a new roof deck, and a new elevator to access the deck.
