Union Stables

Once the home of working horses, Union Stables has been transformed into a Class A office and retail building that mixes sustainability, amenities, and history. As building co-owner, contractor, and the largest tenant, Lewis and the team kept the original timber and masonry structure.  We performed structural upgrades for seismic stability and to support a 5th floor penthouse. Sustainable elements range from efficient replica windows and extensive reuse of materials to an energy dashboard and a green roof. We share lockers and showers for our numerous bicyclists with other tenants such as Tune and renovation architect Weinstein A/U.
