Lorry I. Lokey Laboratories

Lewis built a new 27,000 square foot nanotechnology and integrated sciences facility that houses the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI) on the University of Oregon campus. The concrete structure is located underground, embedded in a natural rock shelf in order to minimize the impact of external vibration on the laboratory equipment. The facility ties directly into an occupied research building and is located immediately adjacent to two other science buildings, all of which house sensitive equipment.
