Projects
Margaret Mead Elementary School

The Project
The 78,000-square-foot, three-story school was built to replace an existing facility that stayed in session during construction. It features 30 classrooms, specialty rooms, a gym, and a covered outdoor space. Site constraints from the existing school and an adjacent wetland were addressed with stormwater detention tanks and ponds. The exterior is comprised of steel framing, CMU veneer, and metal panels.

About
The school includes 30 classrooms; art, science, and music rooms; a library; cafeteria, gymnasium; administration space; and a covered outdoor space.
