Lewis completed the Elephant Lands project at the popular Oregon Zoo. The project included the expansion of the habitat by more than four acres, and incorporated a new elephant barn, exhibit hall and three new outside habitat areas with multiple viewing platforms. Lewis performed upgrades to the complete habitat infrastructure as a part of the project and included an underground stormwater containment system, a horizontal geothermal loop system and an extensive pump/filtration and aquaculture system (LSS) for elephant pool water purification.
