Lewis built out a 20,000 square foot clinic with onsite lab and radiology, Virginia Mason University Village Medical Center, in the new Village South addition to Seattle’s top outdoor retail mall. Concurrently, another Lewis team constructed the building. The new clinic features expanded services, including 21 pediatric exam rooms, 12 adult exam rooms, and an imaging suite with mammography and x-ray. Lewis supported Virginia Mason’s Lean process in areas such as mocking up patient rooms to help them understand the look, ergonomics, and workflows of the planned layout.
