Lewis builds two new fine dining restaurants at The Bravern
Of all the high-end establishments racing to meet The Bravern's October 2009 opening date, the first two were restaurants built by Lewis -- John Howie Steak and Artisanal Brasseries & Wine Bar. Each is 9,000 square feet with a tremendous variety and quality of finishes, such as an ornate pewter bar top at Artisanal made by craftsmen from Montbazon, France. The steakhouse is the fourth restaurant by leading local chef John Howie, who has hired Lewis to build all four of his restaurants. Artisanal was created by Terrance Brennan, one of New York's most acclaimed chefs and proprietors.
