From a young age, Lewis CEO Bart Ricketts loved putting things together and knew he was destined for a career in construction. Growing up in Bend, Oregon he maintained a focus on engineering as he made his way to Santa Clara University to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. After working with a few general contractors, Bart found his way back to Oregon and later joined a firm fresh in the Portland market: Lease Crutcher Lewis.
Twenty-five years later, Bart is now CEO at Lewis and leads the company’s fifth generation of leadership. His life lessons, career path and affinity for teamwork have all shaped who he is as a leader and helped mold what Lewis stands for as a builder.
