Ongoing Shoring and Excavation activities have continued at Buildings A & B-South.
- Building A: Excavation has reached the elevation of the second parking level and will continue down another 10 feet to the bottom of the garage and foundations. Trucking activity is ramping up as we haul away the excavated soil, reaching up to more than trucks per day.
- Building B-South: We placed our first foundations last Wednesday, supporting the South stair tower and South exterior wall. This week we will place the second mat footing to support the elevator and north stair core.
- Building C: Still awaits excavation to start later this month.
The project site is quickly filling up with trailers, mobile cranes, staged equipment and the expanding portion of sloped excavation at Building A. As the site gets cramped, maintaining safe access in and around the site becomes even more important.
We are implementing our traffic control plans to safely direct pedestrians and traffic around our work. Look out for our signage and flaggers as you pass by the site!
