The first project that Riley worked on as a project engineer, Lane Community College Downtown Campus, is still his favorite project to date. The project featured a unique mix of structures made of wood, concrete and steel—providing a great learning environment for a new engineer. He brings his “glass half full” personality and positive outlook to every project he works on. Riley grew up in rural Eastern Oregon where he found a love for fly fishing and bird hunting, as well as skiing down the slopes in the winter months. He and his wife are new to standup paddle boarding, and you can spot them paddling down the Willamette on the weekend.
