Austin grew up in a small town in upstate New York and began working as a carpenter as soon as he was able to catch boards off the table saw. After high school Austin served in the Marines and then ran a design-build construction company in NY until 2015. He has been in Seattle since 2015 working in commercial construction. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, being on the saltwater, and trying to get the honey-do list down to zero.Â
