Mark’s unusual career arc—business school, a switch to union carpenter, rising to the peak of the superintendent profession—prepared Mark for his unique role at Lewis. He is the craftsperson’s and superintendent’s voice at our leadership table. Mark represents the field’s perspectives, values and interests in every aspect of Lewis’ business planning and operations, including safety, preconstruction, workforce education, career development, diversity, recruiting and retention. He also finds time for salmon and tuna fishing and enjoys commuting by bicycle.
