Gordon Russel Middle School
The Project
Lewis recently completed this complex remodel of a 115,000-square-foot school. Renovations included new ceilings, new flooring, upgraded fire alarm and PA systems, complete remodels to accommodate new STREAM programs and sitework reconfiguration to accommodate new sidewalks and paving.
About
Our strategy to stay on budget included rigorous constructability reviews and close collaboration with the district to uncover and resolve pre-existing conditions. Through targeted destructive testing, we anticipated system and code compliance challenges early—avoiding costly surprises and generating more than $500,000 in savings.
