The Project

Built on a 15-acre Port of Seattle site, Seattle Metro Logistics is a two-story industrial center with fleet access and parking. The 700,000-square-foot project stretches a quarter-mile end to end. Our teams completed the building along a highly visible stretch of East Marginal Way adjacent to the Ash Grove cement plant.

Terminal 106 Bridge

Crutcher Structures crews recently built a bridge structure at the Seattle Metro Logistics warehouse project, capping months of planning.

Semi-trucks arriving on-site can now take an earthen ramp—stabilized with a Hilfiker wall system—and cross the bridge to reach an upper-level truck court.

Tilting Up Wall Panels

During several weeks, Lewis crews erected 156 exterior wall panels, each between 40 and 52 feet tall.

The panels were first cast on-site and then tilted into place with a crane. Each panel was temporarily braced until the building’s steel structure was erected. The wall panels were then tied to the permanent building structure.
