Projects
222 Fifth

The Project
Lewis delivered a nine-story, 183,000-square-foot life science facility with labs, offices, retail and advanced MEP systems, plus below-grade parking. The building’s eclectic, curving floorplates, unique to each floor, make it a landmark on Fifth Avenue.

About
The offset massing, stacked vertically along the northwest corner, acknowledges the sculptural forms of the nearby Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), while the curvature of the facade—mirroring the skate park below—reflects the flow of pedestrian and cyclist traffic. The rooftop deck and a green roof provide sweeping views of the Space Needle and Seattle skyline.
