Western State Hospital Update: Crews Complete Last Major Structural Concrete Pour

WSH hospital: Crutcher Structures complete the last major structural concrete pour

Our Crutcher Structures crews have reached a major milestone at the Western State Hospital New Forensic Hospital in Lakewood with the project's last major structural concrete pour.

The building's structural concrete work is now substantially finished. It's a significant achievement for everyone involved.

Work continues for the Crutcher Structures team this fall with slab-on-metal-deck placement, topping slabs and the dismantling of the project's final two tower cranes.

In partnership with Clark Construction, Crutcher Structures is delivering the major concrete package for the 467,000-square-foot forensic hospital, along with a 53,000-square-foot mass timber administration building.

These projects will strengthen forensic behavioral healthcare for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services and serve communities across Washington for decades to come.
