The Puget Sound Business Journal recently recognized Lewis as one of the top 25 corporate philanthropists in Washington state among large companies.

The ranking is based on total corporate and foundation cash giving locally.

This recognition reflects something that runs deep in our culture. Lewis employee-owners create impact well beyond the jobsite every day, strengthening communities, expanding opportunity in the construction industry, and supporting causes across the Pacific Northwest. Through volunteer hours, philanthropic partnerships, and programs that foster belonging, our purpose comes to life through action.

Community involvement is central to who we are. Our corporate giving and employee charitable contribution matching programs encourage personal engagement, and many employees provide volunteer leadership for local nonprofits.

Lease Crutcher Lewis Foundation

Since its inception in 2021, the Lease Crutcher Lewis Foundation has committed more than $720,000 to our nonprofit partners. The initial focus is investing in scholarships supporting historically underrepresented people in the construction industry, as well as non-profits that help build a more diverse workforce for the industry.

Each year, the foundation's employee-led advisory committee awards funds to local nonprofits aligned with our guiding principles and key focus areas.

In 2026, the list of local nonprofits includes Sawhorse Revolution and ANEW. The committee has also funded scholarships at Edmonds College.

Beyond funding, Lewis contributes through service events, mentorship, and feedback for foundation partners.
