Crutcher Structures Profile: Donny McKay
Meet Crutcher Structures foreman Donny McKay. Donny joined Lease Crutcher Lewis nine years ago as a first-period apprentice and hasn’t looked back.
He’s been a fixture on some our largest commercial projects including the Third & Leonora high-rise and the Seattle Metro Logistics warehouse at the Port of Seattle’s Terminal 106.
Donny’s current assignment is the Western State Hospital project in Lakewood, where Crutcher Structures is delivering a major concrete package for the 467,000-square-foot, 350-bed forensic hospital. As the vertical foreman, Donny oversees the crew putting the vertical formwork into place for shear walls and columns.
As an added bonus, Donny recently welcomed his son, Taran, to the team – continuing a tradition of building that spans generations and welcoming the next generation of craftsmen to Crutcher Structures.
