Education
We partner with local school districts, colleges, and universities to deliver learning environments that elevate education and inspire the students of tomorrow.

From complex phasing to specialized CTE environments, we plan and build spaces that maximize value for our stakeholders while minimizing disruption on occupied campuses. Our progressive design-build approach engages stakeholders and trade partners early using collaborative workshops and planning tools to align goals, manage risks and deliver projects with cost and schedule certainty.

UW Welcome Center

Lane Community College's ITEC
Lane Community College’s Industry and Trades Education Center (ITEC) recently opened its doors as a cornerstone of vocational and technical training in Oregon’s South Willamette Valley.
Hear from Lewis project executive Tanner Perrine and other key partners as they discuss how this three-story, 55,000-square-foot facility strengthens the pipeline of skilled tradespeople in the region. ITEC offers a comprehensive construction program with both apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship training, alongside specialized learning spaces for aspiring professionals in the MEP trades.
The Project

Northshore Schools Projects
Lall fall, second and third graders from Maywood Hills Elementary School in Bothell, Washington, reached out to our team with artwork and heartfelt thank you letters for the work crews completed on campus.
The students’ letters include thoughtful questions to feed their natural curiosity about how things are built. We incorporated the artwork into a custom fence panel on-site—a small but meaningful way for us to thank them and celebrate the improvements coming to Maywood Hills. The progressive design-build project for the Northshore School District was completed in August 2025.

Career Technical Education
CTE programs are shaping the future of K-12 learning. At North Eugene High School, student programming now includes flexible, hands-on learning spaces for wood and metal shops, culinary arts, health sciences, digital media, theater, and more.
The CTE spaces were designed and built to give students the chance to explore in-demand career paths, helping them make informed decisions about possible career avenues. By equipping students with practical skills and experience, these programs can prepare students for future jobs and address critical workforce needs in the community.
