Project Manager


We are looking for experienced Project Managers to join our Seattle and Portland teams.

Project Managers at Lewis are critical members of our commercial construction project teams. As a project manager, you will be responsible for project results through your accurate estimating and use of cost control and forecasting. Clear communication skills are a key success factor for our project managers. Our project managers are responsible for building and maintaining client relationships by sharing project status, managing client expectations and communicating changes to the project and field teams.  Additionally, a collaborative, team-oriented approach and effective leadership behaviors are essential as you will be tasked with driving the overall project to successful completion.

As a project manager, you will wear many hats, managing and controlling projects in various stages of development. This will include reviewing and approving bids and budgets, organizing and training field and office staff to properly perform their duties, as well as initiating and supervising the production and maintenance of all construction schedules.

As an effective Project Manager, you will possess demonstrated experience leading and mentoring project teams and technical staff in project tasks. You will also lead project pursuits in partnership with marketing and participate in business development efforts.

As a qualified candidate, you will have a minimum of three years of general contracting project management experience, preferably on negotiated GMP commercial building projects. You will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related degree; as well as, experience within preconstruction planning in estimating, subcontractor bidding, and scheduling. Strong aptitude in Timberline, Primavera or MS Project, and/or Bluebeam will be essential to successfully execute this role.
