- Project: Kenworth R&D Facility
- Location: Renton, Washington
- Client: PACCAR
- Architect: Freiheit & Ho Architects
We constructed a R&D facility at the Renton Kenworth Truck plant; Lewis built the original plant in the 1990s. The building serves as Kenworth's design center, and also a destination for potential customers to see mockups of new designs. Extensive manufacturing and vehicle-testing equipment is included, five overhead bridge cranes, and extensive M/E/P infrastructure. The 25,300 square foot facility is located at a 6.5 acre site with surface parking.
