Housing more than 30,000 square feet of strategic research clusters related to the human brain, molecular biology, nanotechnology, and solar energy, LISB was constructed to allow for collaboration between varying disciplines of science—a progressive and pioneering concept in science. In addition to the extensive research space, 46 faculty offices, 10 collaborative spaces, an imaging center that includes an fMRI, a basement and penthouse comprise this four-story LEED Platinum certified building.

Situated on an 11 acre site, this LEED Gold design/build armory and community center serves the Oregon Military Department and the 162nd Engineering division of the Oregon National Guard. The building is divided into three wings each with a distinct programmatic, security and thermal zone. Key components include a large assembly hall, administrative spaces, commercial kitchen, military storage, arms vault, weapons training simulator and an outbuilding for vehicle maintenance.

This 28,000 square foot store is the client's first in Washington.  Our buildout in the multi-tenant building (which was under renovation concurrently by another Lewis team) included a 1,500 square foot grand entry with a waterfall and pool, an escalator, an elevator, and a stone stairway, as well as new balconies and extensive wood trim.  Inside the space features stone and salvaged end-grain wood flooring and a brick fireplace wall.

Lewis constructed two 24-story apartment towers in Seattle's Belltown district.  The 654 apartments are primarily one-bedrooms and studios, designed for high quality while remaining affordable to young professionals.  Parking for 434 cars is provided in three levels below-grade.  Additionally, 18,000 square feet of street level retail space includes a bike commuting center, a bike store, and a combination restaurant/cafĂ©/grocery store.
